Rooted in the reinterpretation of India’s craft heritage, Baarique is a multidisciplinary design practice under the creative direction of Malika Budhiraj. Malika’s vision has always been to preserve and reimagine traditional Indian art and craft through contemporary design.

Founded by Charvi Patni, CharsDiwari emerged from a childhood spent on the floor of the family’s furniture workshop. Growing up surrounded by generations of makers shaped an instinctive understanding of craft, materials, and the quiet intelligence of making.

Founded in 2021 by industrial designer Vijit Bagh, Falcon Cloak Design operates at the intersection of collectible design, architecture, and material experimentation. Based in Mumbai, the practice began with a focus on futuristic furniture and has since evolved into a multidisciplinary studio working across sculptural furniture, FRP installations, spatial interventions, and experiential builds.

Founded by architect Swetha Raju, Intent Made was born from a belief that craftsmanship and contemporary design can meaningfully coexist.While pursuing her Master’s at the Architectural Association (AA) in London, she was part of the Design & Make programme, contributing to the construction of the Woodchip Barn.

Khambatta is a furniture manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, India – a city renowned for its woodworking tradition and rich history of modernist design. The workshop was founded in the 1990s by architect and designer Ismet Khambatta.

Latika Nehra is a sculptor and visual artist working across ceramics, stone, and mixed-media painting. Her practice began with a career in Design and expanded to contemporary Art, in continued dialogue with the craft traditions of India.

Linda Bloomfield trained as a materials scientist before becoming a potter. She has made porcelain in her West London studio since 2003, with work sold through Liberty, Harrods and Michelin-starred restaurants, alongside ongoing commissions and gallery exhibitions.

Simi Biswas & Varun Kumar are both alumni of NIFT, New Delhi (Class of 2003 & 2002 respectively) and have honed their surface ornamentation skills all over the globe from the tiny bylanes of Old Delhi and Udaipur to the glitz and glamour of high couture in Dubai and London.

Founded by Paris-based multidisciplinary artist and designer Neha Lad, NEHA LAD Studio grew from a practice spanning colour, material and textile design into an exploration of material as an artistic language. 

Ujjval Shah founded her practice with a strong foundation in both graphic and textile design, having honed her skills through a Post graduate in Textile Design at the National Institute of Design (NID) and extensive hands-on training with traditional artisans.

Amrita Nambiar is a contemporary artist and designer based in Bangalore. She is the founder and principal creative at Olie, the experimental lighting studio she started in 2019. A graduate of Chitrakala Parishath with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, Amrita combines artistry and innovation to craft sculptural works that explore the interplay of light, shadow, and emotion.

Tania Misra is a fine artist and ceramicist working across sculpture, painting, ceramics, and spatial installations. Rooted in earth and spirituality, her practice is deeply shaped by meditation, Reiki, and her spiritual connection to Quan Yin, unfolding through contemplation and the rhythm of working with clay.

Yahvi Duggal is an Indian textile artist based in London and founder of Peel Studio. Rooted in the everyday practices of repair, reuse and resourcefulness she grew up around in India, her practice has evolved into an exploration of craft and material innovation.

Rachna is an artist, forager, weaver and maker whose work translates the textures of landscape captured on daily walks into woven cloth. Her starting point has always been material exploration, juxtaposing cotton, linen, silk, nettle, hemp and wool with found materials such as paper, bark and seedpods. 

Radha Patel is a contemporary sculptor and founder of Radha Patel’s Studio in Anand, specializing in metal sculptures and handcrafted ceramic. Her work blends traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, creating pieces that evoke emotion, celebrate culture, and tell meaningful stories. 

Rajvi Amrelia is a multidisciplinary designer and performing artist working across material, movement, form and space, to create work that is as measured in its details and is expressive in its presence.

Sharol Ahluwalia is an Indian ceramic artist currently based in London. Her work draws from yogic philosophies to explore ideas of home on an inward level, human interconnection and ways of being.

Studio Maatimania, run by Khanjan Dalal specialises in hand crafted studio pottery, sculptures and murals. Khanjan studied Fine Arts - Painting at MSU, Vadodara- India in the late 90s.

Sanika Divekar is a ceramic artist and designer based in Bath, UK, originally from Mumbai, India. Her practice constructs speculative objects that blur the boundary between relic and waste, questioning how objects, materials, and emotions endure beyond human intention. 

Takshni was founded in 2019 by Richa, a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), India, and the London College of Fashion (LCF), UK. What began as a single maker’s inquiry has grown into a collective of artisans, artists, and designers drawn from five states across India; bound not by a shared medium, but by a shared way of thinking.

Wicker story is brainchild of PRELAB DESIGN STUDIO, an Architecture and design practice based out of Hyderabad. It was founded in 2018 by Priyanka Narula who is an architect by profession and an IAAC, Barcelona alumni.

Founded by Ishita Khandelwal in 2021, Umeni was born from a vision to preserve and reimagine Indian historical art through contemporary design. The practice has evolved into a luxury furniture and décor brand that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, creating handcrafted pieces of enduring value. 

Vallari’s creative genes comes from her family background of artists and designers in India. A graduate of Fine Arts & Post Graduation in Ceramic Design, she was awarded fellowship from Charles Wallace Trust (British Council) to study at Edinburgh College of Arts.
