There is so much that the Indian creative fraternity is exploring within and outside the country that needs a platform to reach a larger audience.
The curatorial intent of this showcase is to present design as a continuum rather than a taxonomy. A hand held object and a monumental installation are not opposites but parallel expressions of the same impulse—to shape, to narrate, to intervene in the world around us.
By assembling works that range from 5 cm to 5000 cm, the showcase makes scale itself a curatorial tool: intimacy and monumentality appear not in competition but in conversation, showing how design can speak in whispers as well as in declarations.

Raw Collaborative introduces Design Cultures - a new travelling format, exploring the plurality of Indian design by engaging with craft traditions, contemporary practices, and cultural narratives.
By moving across cities, Design Cultures makes design accessible and rooted in place, transforming each edition into both a showcase and a dialogue.
Every edition of Design Cultures becomes a site of exchange — dissolving the hierarchies between traditional and modern, local and global, material and imagination. It is an invitation to experience design as culture: layered, diverse, and deeply connected to the everyday lives of people and the community.
